Our Mission & Vision  

Life Story Club is dedicated to creating spaces where older adults can share their stories, forge meaningful connections, and rediscover their sense of purpose and belonging.

We’re building a future where older adults feel seen and where their experiences and insight are celebrated. 

We believe storytelling is one of the most powerful tools for connection while reinforcing the wisdom of older adults and the inherent value of their experiences. Our weekly virtual clubs are accessible to all and rooted in inclusivity.

The Crisis We Face

Loneliness and social isolation are an epidemic for all ages, but for older adults they are a public health emergency.

  • Social isolation increases the risk of stroke and is equivalent to smoking 15 cigarettes a day

  • Loneliness significantly increases the risk of depression and dementia

  • Millions of older adults experience dangerous levels of isolation everyday

Community and connection is the antidote to loneliness and isolation for all ages, but for older adults it’s lifesaving medicine.
