Young Trouble

Oct 8, 2019

I used to be a nice person. I used to go to Sunday school, I was a Sunday school teacher. And I was the youngest out of 6. I used to love to cook, I used to love to clean. I still love to cook. And me and my friend, when we were teenager, we went out one night. We were supposed to be home at 10 o’clock, we didn’t get back until the next morning. So me and my friend had to lie and say the car broke down!

Another time, when I was about 18 or 19. I used to go on dates. My father would tell my friends, bring her back before 12 o’clock. So one night it was after 12, he said, “The next time you bring her back, you can take her home with you.”

So one time we went to the beach. We had a good time. We left on Saturday night, and we didn’t come back until Monday morning. It was 6 of us. We had a good time, we just enjoyed ourselves. We went Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. I’m from the South from King Street, South Carolina. We just took the car to Myrtle. We lived in the South but we had a beautiful time. I wouldn’t give nothin’ for it. It’s not fun here. It’s like when we grew up we had a lot of fun and what not. We used to work on the farm, we raised a lot of cows, horse, chicken. I had all my sisters and brothers, they were very nice to me. Three of them passed away. We all get along very well, we’re a very close-knit family. I have 3 children and 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandkids.
