Gullah Red Rice

My family and I love going to the park for cookouts- everybody brings something. My sister lived in the Bronx for a while so we would go to Pelham Bay park and get there early around 5:00 am to get a good spot. The family grill master used to be my son, until he became a vegan. So now my twin daughters have taken over the grill and sometimes I’ll jump in too. On the table you will always find some good gullah red rice.
