A tradition that I do is Thanksgiving, but I usually go to one of my daughter’s house. But now I’m not sure because one of my grand-daughters is going to give birth in the same week as Thanksgiving! Due on Thanksgiving week. I might have to take the food to the hospital! The turkey in the hospital! We usually have rice, plantains, chicken, pork, salad…I always do the rice, plantains and escabeche. It’s kind of like ceviche but with green banana and instead of fish, it’s gizzard. The husband of the daughter does the turkey, everyone has their specialty. The turkey is deep fried!
